I have to admit that normally I am not a huge heart kind of gal. But when the idea popped into my head to make rows of hearts that look like they were knitted on one of those gorgeous Scandinavian sweaters, well the idea just wouldn't go away and I started on some serious quilty math. I quickly discovered that the official name of that type of sweater style is called Fair Isle and it felt like such a perfect name for this quilt.
