Checkmate is a modern beginner quilt pattern using foundation paper piecing to create flowers across a checkerboard background. Layouts for a baby quilt (about 42x51") , throw quilt (about 60x69"), twin size quilt (about 78x96") and queen size quilt (about 96x105") are included.
