About the Cozy Quilt Shop

Rick and Daniela Stout started Cozy Quilt Shop in Rancho San Diego in 2003. Both had professional jobs (Rick as a software engineer and Daniela as a marketing manager for a book distributor), but they dreamed of running their own business. They chose the name "Cozy Quilt Shop" because it evoked feelings of comfort and home.

The business grew, and they expanded twice before moving to their current location of 7500 square feet in Granite Hills, a neighborhood of El Cajon, California. They changed the name to Cozy Creative Center at that time.
