I loved the picture as my husband was raised on a farm. But after only a short time into it I realized the creator was more interested in the shading of the design than they were in how the buyer could actually complete it. Why in Gods name would you have 5 shades of blue only differing by a slight shade and causing you to lock one stitch on the back and starting one stitch beside it on the back and locking it. It doesn’t sound horrible until you do a good 100 stitches and you have the thickest cross stitch back that it is almost impossible to get the needle through. I’ve cross stitched for 50 years and never had a pattern I hated as much as I did this. I even searched for a different pattern with the barn and farm tractor in it. To top it off it’s done on 25 count fabric and NOT worked over two squares at a time. I have been working on this for over a year and I have come to hate cross stitch. It’s not enjoyable anymore. It may end up as an unfinished project because it makes me angry that the creator probably never actually did it. Maybe then they would realize what all their “shading” does to the stitcher!

We saw the issue, and we’re sorry! We sent you an email that may help!
