The bright, colorful flowers in this happy wall quilt are pieced using a 22.5° wedge ruler.  The leaves are paper-foundation pieced.  Flowers, leaves and stems are then machine appliquéd onto the background.  The design offers many possibilities for embellishment with stitching, buttons or beads.

It is a great pattern but not sure of how to make it yet. I have read thedirection several times but still not sure. Will have to take to my quilt group and maybe get some help from them on how it is done. I do have the right ruler and all the equiptment to make it and I want to make it for a group challenge. My challenge though is figuring out how to cut it all.
Sewing will be easy ( I think) I have made Dresdan plates without problems so I hope maybe a couple of other heads put together will help me to get it done. It is unusual for sure.
