Big Slice is a playful reimagining of the classic Double Wedding Ring block, with an emphasis on curves, color, and creative variation. The pattern includes four different arc foundations and options for making the arcs scrappy, solid, improvisational, or with New York Beauty-style points. Clear instructions cover freezer-paper templates, glue-stick foundation piecing, curved piecing, and squaring up the finished blocks. With plenty of room to experiment with color and layout, Big Slice works well for adventurous beginners and experienced quilters alike.
