Cynthia Muir is a quilter and pattern designer who started sewing and trying to create things from fabric at a young age. She made her first real pieced quilt in a college class. She loved the whole process of making a quilt and immediately became hooked!
After college, she worked in the accounting department for a long-arm quilting machine manufacturer and discovered a whole new world that she had no idea existed. During that time she designed her first quilt.
After having her first child, she left her accounting job, started a quilting blog, and eventually wrote her first pattern. She has been adding to her collection of patterns ever since. Her designs generally have a modern but cohesive aesthetic. She uses appliqué and traditional piecing methods to make fun and functional quilts.
