Shipping Info

Our shipping and handling fee covers the cost of postage and packaging. This includes labor costs for packing, supplies and warehouse storage fees. We take every precaution to assure that your order will be received by you in excellent condition.

We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our preferred postal carrier. We will always try to send your order in the most efficient, least costly method.

NO TRACKING is provided on most small orders.  USPS requires a package to be .75 inches thick and not able to bend if two finger pressure is applied on the package when it's half way hanging over a desk.  Most patterns will not meet either requirement.  Because they would not they would have to ship out priority mail to qualify for tracking which would often cost more then the pattern it's self and not worth shipping.  To keep costs down,  most smaller orders will not have tracking unless the package is over .75 inches thick.

Note: Shipping charges are estimates ONLY. Oversized packages may require a larger shipping charge while smaller packages may have a reduced shipping charge.

If you would like a shipping quote before shipping, please email us at orders@quiltingbookspatternsandnotions.com.

A receipt may accompany the package showing actual shipping charges.

While we attempt to keep in stock the most popular items other items may need to be ordered in - our mission is to offer you the greatest selection and one-stop shopping.  If we have to order in your item it will likely take 5 to 9 business days to process your order if it's not on back order.

We are all working diligently as a team to get orders out in a timely manner. We ship 5 days a week so we can get your order out as soon possible.  We do try to email customers about any delays but unfortunately, cannot always get these emails out as soon as we should.

When an order is placed, the customer is automatically charged for the order. We do not keep credit cards in house.  As with Paypal payments, credit card processing is done through a secure credit card processing procedure.  This is for the security of the customers information and it also speeds up our shipping process so we can get the product out as quickly as possible.

Because there is no system in place to track International orders, Quilting Books, Patterns and Notions can not guarantee delivery.

We try to keep shipping costs down to the minimum. Our shipping charges are for shipping & handling, meaning not only will you be charged for the actual cost of shipping your order, but for the other costs associated with shipping your order. These costs include but are not limited to: postage fees, envelopes, boxes, packing materials, tape, labels, equipment necessary for processing your orders (scales, software, dedicated printers etc.), paper products, labor to process and package your order. Internet access, website hosting, business telephone charges and even more.
These are just some of the costs directly associated with shipping your orders in a timely and cost effective manner.
Many comparable sites have a much higher minimum which we have chosen not to do.
