Super easy raw edge applique is used to make this cheerful quilt. The background block is pieced first then the orange peel shape is stitched onto the block. Depending on what stitch is used to secure shape to block the edges will get soft and fluffy when washed for that sweet vintage feel. Great technique to teach and learn. Orange peel shape can be hand cut with included template or die cut with 4-1/2" orange peel die.
