Like most of my patterns, this is quick and easy. I think this is a striking quilt, and the baby quilt is great for scraps and goes together in just a couple of hours.
Baby size 39" x 39":
40 Charms Squares OR 10 Layer Cake squares OR 8 fat quarters
1 yard white fabric
1 1/3 yards backing
3/8 yard binding
Fabric requirements for the lap quilt/coverlet, 68" x 68":
35 Layer Cake squares OR 15 fat quarters
2 5/8 white fabric
4 1/4 yards for backing
5/8 yard for binding
This quilt is great for novice quilters, or anyone that wants to complete a beautiful quilt over a weekend. The baby quilt is so fast and cute, you will want to make several!
