How to Use the Half-Square Triangle, QST & Flying Geese Calculator
1. Choose the unit and the method you want to use.
2. Enter the finished size of the unit (the size once it is sewn into your quilt).
3. Optionally enter how many units you need.
4. Tick the trim box if you like to cut a little larger and trim to size.
5. Select Calculate Cut Sizes.
Please note: Calculations use a 40" usable width of fabric (WOF) and ¼" seams unless you choose otherwise. Results are a helpful guide; patterns, fabrics and cutting vary, so allow a little extra.
