Setting Triangle Calculator for On-Point Quilts

Setting blocks on point? Get the size to cut your side and corner setting triangles, how many you need and your quilt size.

How to Use the Setting Triangle Calculator for On-Point Quilts

1. Enter your finished block size.
2. Enter how many blocks run across the top and down the side.
3. Tick the box to cut the triangles a little larger so the blocks float and you can trim.
4. Select Calculate Setting Triangles.

Please note: Calculations use a 40" usable width of fabric (WOF) and ¼" seams unless you choose otherwise. Results are a helpful guide; patterns, fabrics and cutting vary, so allow a little extra.
