In an instant, I knew I wanted to name him Atreyu. The movie "The NeverEnding Story" had a profound impact on me, and my imagination was captivated by the name Atreyu—a warrior's name for someone strong and enduring. Surely, my little dog would live up to it. Over 20 beautiful years of companionship, he indeed proved to be just that.

As a mother, I often tailor my crafts to reflect my child's interests in animals. Lisa Muilenburg, a mother of four children herself, drew inspiration from her own creative journey to design these patterns.
