Hello, I am Marija - wife, mom, grandma, cancer research scientist and pattern designer behind Mara Quilt Designs. I have sewn and loved crafts all my life, but only discovered quilting once I immigrated to the US with my family in 1992 - and that is where my creative soul found a home. I love nature and color; coffee and chocolate are my fuel of choice.
