The Quilted Diary

I am Sarah Marcina: a Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Quilter, Designer and a Christian. I come from generations of quilters, from those for whom it was a necessity to those who loved it as a creative pleasure. My love of quilts and quilting began when I was five years old. As my mother worked on a Sunbonnet Sue quilt for my bed, she helped me sew my first sampler. During college, she gave me a sewing machine, and I fully embraced the art of quilting.

In 2017, I began designing and selling PDF patterns. In 2020, a large quilt company accepted and published my first pattern. In 2024, I expanded by offering printed patterns and wholesale options. Visit my website for more information and to sign up for my monthly newsletter.
