Exshaw Quilts

Hi, I’m Kim—quilt designer, hand quilter, and natural-indigo dyer behind Exshaw Quilts. I work from our old log cabin in northern British Columbia, designing beginner-friendly patterns and teaching slow, practical skills. My work leans classic: two-color palettes, traditional blocks, and lots of hand-stitched texture. Many of my fabrics are dyed in my backyard indigo vat, then finished with quiet, meditative hand quilting. Exshaw Quilts is my way of sharing the calm I find in making—useful pieces, simple methods, and stories that feel like home.
