Country cabins surround a large center star in this richly colored lap quilt or wall hanging. Log-cabin-style piecing makes easy work of the diamonds that glow with fiery warmth that keep the cabin hearths and windows aglow.
Cabins are pieced to perfection on foundation paper. Assembling the finished star and inserting the cabins will take a bit of care for perfect points and corners and a center medallion that lies perfectly flat in the finished quilt.
