You loved the technique from the Water Lily pattern, so Studio 180 Design figured out how to do it in 10 sizes! A slivering construction step takes a regular Lemoyne and lets you make amazing spiked stars.
You can substitute this great-looking block for a Lemoyne in other patterns, or create new designs of your own. You should already be familiar with basic Lemoyne Star construction before trying this technique.
