A thick, non-slip backing builds friction underneath the cutting surface to reduce slipping, while durable hinges allow the mat to lie flat for smooth cuts without catching or snagging. In addition, accurate, easy-to- read measurements and 30-, 45- and 60-degree angle lines simplify measuring and bias cutting.
