Purple Mist is a quilt which uses simple piecing and English paper pieced flowers together in a dynamic setting. I often enjoy English paper piecing when on vacation or watching TV which means I make many flowers. In this quilt and its bigger sister, Silver Mist, the flowers are appliquéd onto plain blocks to make the work portable and to add different colors. The quilt combines 2 different blocks, a pieced block and a flower appliqué block. The blocks each measure 10” finished (10½" unfinished). Unless otherwise noted all seams are ¼" and are sewn right sides together. You may enjoy setting your blocks in a different arrangement. Skill level: Intermediate

Only orders that qualify dimension wise for tracking get tracking. Most single quilt patterns do not qualify for tracking because they are too small and we would be forced to charge priority mail pricing which is often over the cost of the pattern.
